World Addresses is a RESTful HTTP web service accessed via http://ws.worldaddresses.com. It is hosted on Amazon Cloud servers across multiple availability zones and we strive to deliver 100% uptime. We return results in XML or JSON, making it accessible cross-platform and via AJAX requests.

Universal Postal Union Standard S42 defines the correct format for each country's address, approved by its postal operator. By using this address format, you can be confident your mail will be processed as efficiently as possible by other countries.
